Because without your support and help through out the years we could not have done it and we have! For the past 9 years I have been either the room mother or the assistant and I know that each year as you were called for help that you responded with a positive attitude with what ever was needed, whether it be for the classroom, field trips, parties, hot lunches, dances, money, decorating, donating your time, donating items or what ever had to be done, I could always count on you !!!!! I could not have asked for better parents. I feel very blessed to have gained some great friends…… THANK YOU ALL SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!!!!!! For those that are leaving the school, you will be truly missed….. Love, Joyce Kellis From the Classroom Of: Mrs. Dieterle: Paige Taylor has a new baby sister named Aislyn! She visited us in Kindergarten a few days ago and she is adorable. Congratulations to Teri and Ryan, her mom and dad. We watched our caterpillars eat and grow and eat and grow and then go into their chrysalids. Just a few days later the butterflies began emerging and now we have a whole bunch of them! After watching them eat sugar water from flowers for a few days, we released them after prayers on May 28th because we know that wild things need to be free. On May 30th we will go on our last field trip of the year to the Chaffee Zoo in Fresno. We are very busy getting ready for our graduation celebration on June 4th at 9:30 in the church. Our graduation has a western theme this year so come to the Kindergarten Roundup, y’all! Mrs. D and Miss Shanay have a special surprise for the kindergarteners and their families but you have to come to Dillon Hall after the graduation to see it. Please pray for the kindergarteners as they prepare for their graduation celebration. Pray for all students to have a safe and happy summer, and for all the Sisters of the Love of God to have a safe and blessed trip to Spain to visit their families. I give thanks to God for Miss Shanay’s wonderful help and for the outstanding parent support I have enjoyed this year. God bless you all! To All St. Anne’s Families: Thanks for donating all those empty cereal boxes. If you want to know what we made with them, come to our graduation and you’ll see! Sister Goretti: The 2nd graders wish to thank every one of you for your prayers and support for each one of us on OUR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION DAY! The good Lord blessed us with a shiny morning! Indeed it was a personal encounter with Jesus THE BREAD OF LIFE. We have kept up with the reading log. We had fun learning at the Porterville Farm Fair on May 16th. 2nd grade parents, THANK YOU for the times that you participated in any of the school activities. You made my task easy by your willing participation. Also, we want to wish all the newsletter’s readers an enjoyable, peaceably and blessed summer vacation, 2003. The 2nd graders are praying for the lonely and the sick, especially the ones in our families. We are intensifying our prayers for peace on the world and for UNITY. Thank you for all the good work. Mrs. O’Berg: Thank you so much for such a great year! I enjoyed the time with this class and will miss them next year. I promise to bring Michael Thomas in to see them next year. It’s been fun sharing the growth of the baby with them. God’s blessings for a wonderful summer! -In Christ, Mrs. O’Berg Mrs. Waller: Another year has come and gone and as usual I have so much to be thankful for. Getting to know you and this awesome 6th grade class has been a blessing. They have challenged me and I hope I have challenged them to enjoy learning about their faith and the history of this fascinating world we live in. I look forward to spending the next two years with them. I want to sincerely thank all of you for your support and cooperation. We have the greatest parents at St. Anne’s School! Have a wonderful summer! -Yours in Christ, Mrs. Waller Sister Catalina: To my Class of 2002-2003, before you leave St. Anne’s, remember to keep the name of God High and do not be ashamed of Him ever! Through the years we have been together I've seen different gifts in you. Here is what I think of you. The gift of Child Like is still present in the lives of Garrett Knight, Dustin Harris and Kyle Nicholson, keep it alive and as you grow older, remember to laugh. The gift of Respect and Concern for others is very visible in Shianne Hastings and Theo Romo, keep it burning in your lives for the well being of Humanity. The gift of Knowledge and Teaching is present in the lives of Ernie Hanks and Chantal Crouzet. Continue using your gift to make a difference in people's lives. The gift of Love is alive in the hearts of Crystal Fernandez and Crystal Keele. Continue showing this gift for the Glory of God. The gift of Self Control and Faith is consistent in the lives of Marissa Martinez and Paige Nicholson, keep using it as you encounter the hopeless and faithless of this world. The gift of Wonder and Awe is present in the lives of Avery Taylor and Chase Kennel. Keep it as you continue your journey to holiness. May others be inspired by the way you hold high the name of God in your life. The gift of Compassion and Fear of the Lord is present in the lives of Jared Santos and Briana Aguilar. May you touch the lives of people who need compassion and respect. The gift of Joy and Gentle attitude towards everyone is very visible in the life of Elise Hein. Keep this gift burning in your heart so that you may touch the coldness and sadness of our world. Thank You to the Room Mothers, especially Joyce Kellis, Pam Santos and Kathy Kennel. May God Bless you for ALL THE Work AND THE LOVE YOU PUT ON OUR CLASS. Thank You to Mr. Mullen, you were our angel one more year. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! To God our center, our hope and soul THANK YOU! As I close the last newsletter of the school year, I would like to thank Vivian Lamb, who was a fabulous Publicity Assistant! Vivian has volunteered to be Head Publicity Officer for the 2003-04 school year and I am certain that she will continue to do an amazing job. Thank you, Vivian! Have a terrific summer!!!
